about us

how everything started

Dr. Gloria C. Bent and Dudu Angel Mathebula co-founded the Glory of Hope Foundation with a shared mission to give back to the community by supporting those in need. Inspired by Dr. Bent’s mentorship during her visit to South Africa in 2020, Dudu was motivated to co-found and name both the travel company and the charitable organization “Glory of Hope” in honor of Dr. Bent’s profound influence.

Dr. Bent, an internationally esteemed lecturer, licensed dietitian, healthcare advocate, and motivational speaker, has dedicated her career to uplifting communities. Her nonprofit work has positively impacted countless women and girls, providing hope and opportunities for a better life.

The Glory of Hope Foundation was established with the purpose of bringing hope to those who lack it. Through its initiatives, the foundation donates essential items, including healthcare products, school supplies, clothing, food, and educational resources, to empower children and help them thrive academically and socially. This commitment underscores Dr. Bent and Dudu’s shared vision of creating a brighter, more hopeful future for all.
